A Hard Time Understanding Things

I feel beat down for having a hard time understanding things from when I was in kindergarten.  In pre-kindergarten for 2 years, I don’t remember handling books and papers and turning things in.  The teachers were kinda uppity with me, too.  I feel like my dad treats me a certain way because of it, like that’s how he sees me as a person, today.  I feel he goes along with the crowd and sees me as immature but not sprightly as a younger person.

“No Child Left Behind”

It’s strange people beat out everything in Generation XY in high school to hide the bad kids’s relative failure.  However, try to do something “up old” like in your teens and you won’t be ready.  Like, you have to learn to read or are told stories very young.

School Band vs. the Supposed Idea of Having School Orchestras

In junior high, I moved where the school had band. In previous schools, I learned to read music and watched musicals and some other activity. I said I played piano, and I was not told to start an instrument. The band director said I could play the tuba part on the electric keyboard, and I did. In high school, I was accepted into a program called Talented Arts and was in Talented Music, for piano. The band teacher tried to get me in band, but I still wanted to play violin. What am I doing now? Playing the violin. I follow an orchestra online and “feel like I’m not good enough.”
